Hmmm... 145F sounds low. I work in C and I'd expect it to be rated at
around 140C... So maybe you got F and C mixed up?

Nothing wrong with subbing parts with the SAME RATING. If you want to
ensure your parts are legit, look for UL listed parts (logo looks like
'RU').

Out of interest, while you have the switch out of the machine, can you push
the bi metallic strip back down with something thin? Like a tooth pick? It
should go 'click'. If so check for continuity.
