Heh

We could make registering to vote the same act as filing
federal income taxes!  Why not?  They already have that silly
box asking if you want $1 to go to presidential campaigns.
It would probably provide a good incentive to actually file
taxes every year, instead of making the IRS come and get your
income tax themselves (as some people are wont to do.)
