now I've got a bunch of books backed up because I was sick for a month and didn't have
the energy to finish anything.
There's "Gateway" by Pohl, "Nothingness: the science of empty space," by Henning Genz,
"The elegant universe," by Brian Greene, "Under the Net," by Iris Murdoch, and "The
Naked God, Part 1: Flight" by Peter F. Hamilton.
"Naked God" is GREAT so far! Lots of fun.
"Gateway" really surprised me. It's a wonderful novel, very insighful and sad. Now
that's it's almost done I really want to read the other two books in the Heechee
trilogy.>>
I'm pretty sure there is a second trilogy as well. some are better than others ut I
liked them all. Does anyone have a recomendation on other good Pohl books?
I'm presently reading Dawins' _The Blind Watchmaker_ (biomorph programs anyone?) and
Bear's _The Forge of God_.
