But Charlie, you have a certain ability to crash anything you drive
(or ride) :) ***

How about scooters? I think that they would be great second vehicles
for around the town use. And besides you can get 80 - 100 mpg out of
the little wheezers.

I myself am thinking about a motorcycle.... a nice Husqvarna
dual-sport. If I can't go out and get it good and dirty, it is
worthless. No Harleys or crotch-rockets.

Tools of choice:
Land Rover Discovery (yes, I use it)
Subaru Justy rally car/beater
Giant mountain bike in need of replacement.

Another way of saving fuel...work as close to home as possible. My
commute is 20 min walking, 5 min driving. This allows us to refuel
the Rover once a month. Julie works out of the house.

I love driving, just not to work,
Matthew Bos
