You guys are just a bunch of wimps.  Seven paces, phaaa!  I proudly commute a
full 43 miles 753 yards 2 feet 6 7/16 inches (that's some other amount in
communist units), through some of the worst automobile traffic known to
personkind!  Swerving madly through traffic wantonly displaying my middle
finger and sounding my horn ...  

Well, OK, maybe not.  I take the train 90 some odd percent of the time.  It's
much higher quality time than driving, but not as desirable as a telecommute. 
I envy you.
