That's true.   Although most Federal Employees I know tend to shove their
ID somewhere the moment they get out of the office - which is not to say,
of course, that I have never walked into a restaurant with my name badge
still happily dangling around my neck.  ;-)

That's true...... perhaps the DC United were playing that evening.  We know
how those soccer fans are, after all..... :)

Well, assuming that under union Rules she is working an 8 hour day, she
might very well be working a 7:30 - 4:00pm shift.   Of course, that's still
rush hour here in DC - which just re-emphasizes, that it would be very hard
to do in one hour.

Well, that part of Maryland is considered very shady.   The Census Bureau
is located in Suitland, MD - and I have to travel there frequently.
Colloquially, we refer to the Suitland Federal Center as being "a prison" -
not so much to keep us Feds in, but to keep the neighborhood out.
