Oh. See, when I was working at the IRS, my badge went into my purse when
I came out of the building, or at some point on the bus (on those days
that I took the bus), and was probably at least as easily findable as my
wallet if something happened to me. (Then again, it would have sifted to
the bottom of the purse if I'd gone to buy a new car, and would not, under
those circumstances, been as easily found as the wallet, in all
likelihood.)
Plus which, once I figured out what one contributing factor to some of my
headaches was, I wore shirts with collars that I could clip the badge to.
