Ah, so pretty much go with New York's model for
combatting gun violence.

Punish the people before they even think of violating
the law!  I must ask you, how far would such a
government go in interfering in your life 10 years
down the road?  50?

It's not just Dean babbling, it's the way the human
race needs to go if it's ever going to leave the
cradle.  What sort of people founded my homeland? 
Everyone who thinks it wasn't individualists raise
their hand.

I don't see it that way, but to progress towards a
system of government that will regulate away every
problem for you makes it strong and you weak.  Hasn't
anyone other than myself read any classic sci fi?  I
find that hard to believe that people can't take brave
new world, 1984, and farenheit 451 as warnings.
