With regret, i'm going to finally take the liberty the
rest of you have been taking for awhile and ignore the
points or entire posts that I don't feel like

That's not what I said, nor what I meant.  Let me
clarify my beliefs in regard to community:

If there is a community that believes that everyone is
responsible for each other, that's great.

If there is a community of individuals that believe
not only that they are responsible for themselves, but
all others in the community, I believe this one has a
very fundamental advantage over the first.

You are lumping individualism with selfishness, and
confusing my views on government with my views on
society.
