You know, sometimes I think the USA society is made of
aliens from other planets, because you are *so* different
from the rest of the world!
For example, USA society *still* is very nomadic, so that
most families are raised in a different state from the
state of the parents. And children, when they come to
University age, go to another state to get their diploma.
It's no surprise that women don't get help from gramma and
aunties! They may be 1000 km [or the equivalent in that
horrible pseudo-unit that you use to confuse us, miles] away!
