Oh, I knew that average doesn't mean much, but it does give us a figure to
compare to the "$10US per day" figure for hospitalization in
India. (Though I don't know if that was the room charge only or includes
the other services.)
Perhaps you could just scan the bill and post it to the list, then we can
all not only marvel at the price of modern medical care in the US, but
cringe to consider what you've been through. <g>
