My mom drove 1200 miles (approx. 1900 km) to come out and stay with us.
She left an hour or two before Sammy was born and got here a couple of
hours after we came home.
Dan's mom flew out here. I'm not sure what the distance was, but they
live in the Phoenix, AZ area and we're in Austin, TX, and I'm sure someone
can come up with that distance if anyone really wants it.
Oh, and my sister will be coming from Washington, DC next week, and that's
further from us than my mom is.
