I know there's been several very indignant opinion articles- many of 'em
quite good- floating around New Zealand, but I haven't heard anything
from Europe.

<sigh> the problem is, when has China *ever* shown that they cared what
the rest of the world thought of them? But I guess we have to make the
best of it. And not go to the Olympics.
