The only problem with your analysis John is that "the world" didn't
grant Beijing the Olympics, the IOC did.  And with what we know of the
IOC, I'd say Beijing is the perfect site for the Olympics.  Everything
runs on graft, corruption, and connections there, right?  Just like the
IOC.

Let's face facts, the Olympics is a sham run for the personal benefit
of the IOC.  Human rights have nothing to do with it.
