Not necessarily. When people have sex, it does not always cause babies. If
it did, Sonja and I would have, er, an awful lot of children by now...   :-)

Then there are people who can have sex but can't have babies, because of
medical reasons, or because one of them has been sterilized. And then there
are other forms of sex that don't lead to pregnancies, such as sex between
homosexuals (either male or female), and er, er...

I'll leave it to your imagination to come up with other forms of sex that
don't lead to pregnancy. I can't mention them here -- there may be minors on
this list...   :-)
