Hey, you're complaining, I'm number 27.

Eh, I'm here, but possibly not for much longer. Aside from the sheer
terror of looking at the pileup that happened while I was too ill too
post, I'm getting bored. Yes, bored. I miss having discussions with
people. I mean, I know I'm opinionated, and when I was still a teen it
was fun to post stuff and get flamed six ways to Sunday, but- and maybe
I'm just getting old here- I miss having people respond to something in
some way besides "You complete whacko! That's
prejudiced/uneducated/uncalled for/stupid! You've got no right to be
posting on this subject anyway because you don't know what you're talking
about and you're nothing but a crazy environmentalist college student who
will drop all these silly ideas the minute you actually has to get a job
anyway!"
Oh, well. I guess you know you're getting old when you get up in the
morning and the thought of fending off a few dozen furious emails
blasting the hell out of your worldview just makes you feel tired. Maybe
I should quit before I get urges to croak "And in the *old* days...."
