This brings up something I've been ruminating on for a while. Do we need
to/would we like to open up The Guidelines for revision? I'd be willing to
rehash the whole thing again, but with the proviso that the List Owners
have the last say. Last time we did this, Brin was around, and he had last
word, too, but since he's gone, I figure it's up to the List Owners with my
imput as well.
So, maybe we should add:
- We are tolerant of subject threads that enrage us for one reason or
another, and we will all try to respond in a reasonable manner.
We never had to do this before. Somehow, IAAMOAC covered not repsonding to
anger with anger. So what changed? I don't have the time to read all the
posting anymore, but are people getting edgier?
So, whaddya'll think?
Waiting....

In a little tradition of mine, I offer the following to give everyone a
smile, and maybe even a few belly laughs, and therefore lower blood
pressures. Our long lost Vera posted it here a while back:

>Contestants must travel from Amarillo through Fort Worth, Dallas, Houston,
>San Antonio, and back to Amarillo, through San Marcos and
