There is a problem with airport security in the USA. UK tv had an interview
with an aviation expert who explained that the security on internal US
flights was known to be inadequate despite a report that had suggested it
should be improved. He also suggested that the spectacular collapses of the
Trade Towers was due to the intense heat of the fires fuelled by the
aviation fuel in the planes weakening the structural steel reinforcing in
the buildings.
