The appalling events of the last 24 hours lead to a new shock - I have to
agree with John. Britain has been under terrorist attack for 30 years.
Terrorists hide amongst innocent people. Dealing with it is an
extraordinarily difficult and messy business. Given that the UK government
has expressed solidarity with the US following these events it may be that
some of the experience accumulated by the UK may be of value.
