Let us assume that the US were to act impeccibly in international
relationships.  Wouldn't it make enemies by doing the right thing? Wouldn't
it still be at risk for this type of action?  If the government of
Afganastan is involved (the most recent news report quotes a sr.
intelligence official stating that new information has raised the
probability of bin Ladin's involvement to 90%+.  If that is the case, how do
 you suggest we arrange our affairs so a government that destroy 1000 year
old statues has better relationships with us?
