The missile shield was intended to protect against incoming missiles from
"rogue nations". It should be obvious by now that it is not likely that
"rogue nations" will use ICBM's against the US. A missile is something you
can see coming; attacks from within you usually do not see coming -- as
Tuesday's attack has shown.

Well, a big one I would say, given the fact that I still waste my valuable
time replying to your posts...

What would a "terrorism shield" look like, then? The whole problem with
terrorism is that you cannot defend yourself against it.

Well, then why do you not build a huge wall around the entire US and then
put a roof on it? No terrorists will be able to get in, no missiles can hurt
you, and as a bonus it protects you from UV radiation from the Sun.
That should keep the US safe and happy...
