Prices were exactly the same Wednesday as Monday in Birmingham, AL. The
governor (after driving back from South Carolina, where his plane was
grounded) and other state officials and the local DA issued a warning
Tuesday afternoon against any attempts at price-gouging after hearing some
rumors that some stations in the state might be raising prices. The
stations on Wednesday were about exactly as busy as on a normal day.
