Well, it obviously couldn't be the fact that it only took you a short time
to revert to your on-list policy of 100% criticism of America, could it?
Nahhhh...... It couldn't be the utter absence of concession statements
in every one of your arguments, you know anything that suggests that you
even can see American points of view, even if you disagree with them, could
it? Nahhhhh...... On the other hand, maybe its the fact that you have
repeatedly insisted that Americans should be seeing the possibility of
immorality in an essential American process - earning profit - despite the
fact that Americans have never found immorality in earning profit following
other tragedies, could it? Nahhhh..........

Gee wiz, Jeroen, I just can't figure out where these doubts could
*possibly* be coming from!

Now this, Jeroen, I actually understand. After all, how many posts did I
have to spend repeating the central point of my original "Profit" post -
i.e. that American construction firms have always earned profits after
natural disasters, and it would be unthinkable to Americans to deny them
profit after this tragedy.

Where have I heard that "some of my best friends are Negroes" phrase,
before?

Sorry, Jeroen, but its not about the friends you keep or how much you enjoy
this great land's natural and historic beauty.

Its about having a virulent knee-jerk reaction to almost everything America
does and stands for.
