For what it's worth, I don't see hatred in your postings.  I see plenty of
disgust and too much sarcasm, but not hatred.  Perhaps the difference is
that the hater wishes to destroy, while the disgusted and sarcastic person
is either abandoning or calling for change.  The latter are what I'm hearing
from you: you're not supportive of the United States in its response to the
terrorists and think it needs to clean up its own act quite a bit.

Now, having said relatively nice things, I'll add an observation that you've
gotten awfully darn cranky, Jeroen, which makes me less interested in
engaging.

On the other hand, passion is to be expected now.  I was a bit overwhelmed
last night by the thought of 300 firefighters' funerals.  Incomprehensible.
