The only time the National Anthem is played at Australian Rules games is in the Finals series. It's never played (that I can recall) for an ordinary season game. And in the Finals, not too many people sing along, although most of us stand. And you never hear the last bar, either, cos that's when the ROOAARRRR!!! starts. I'll be going along to the Australia-Ireland International Rules game next week (a hybrid of Aussie Rules and Gaelic football). It might be different there - I'll let you know. Brett
