The nearest Whataburger is further away than not one, but TWO Wendy's,
and TWO McDonald's, and the Sonic and the Jack-in-the-Box I mentioned
earlier. Oh, and there's also a Taco Bell (Taco Hell) closer, as well.
It's also in the wrong direction for 98% of the things I'd be stopping
for fast food on the way to. (Trying to think if there's one on the way
to where I went on Sunday, but then I would have been too full for the
yummy enchiladas I had later, if I'd gotten a burger on the way instead
of munching vegetables. And those were pretty decent enchiladas.)

The last time I was eating regularly at Whataburger was when we were
living in an apartment that was walking distance from one. That was
nice, because they were open 24 hours and if I wanted coffee in the
middle of an all-nighter (or close to one), I could just go over there
and not try to figure out where the coffeemaker was buried. (Not to
mention the fact that I can't make coffee, but that's a different
story.)
