I saw it in 1972 or 1973, and I was young enough that I could be wrong.

Now, I just checked their website, and they aren't in Alabama. They
have stores in Arizona, California, Idaho, Illinois, Louisiana,
Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina,
Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Washington.
The closest one to me is probably the easiest fast-food establishment
for me to pick up food from, but I'm not in the habit of doing so -- I'm
more likely to drive a more complicated route to get to Wendy's and
back, or go to the nearest Sonic. (That's a drive-in, regional, and the
first one of those I saw was in Texas.)
