At the very least, the first one was a clinic on how *not* to keep key
players healthy who were healthy an hour before kickoff. :P
That was one heck of a game. Mostly both teams stunk, but part of that
was related to injuries. Part. There were some good plays on both
sides. There were a couple of bad calls by the refs, but I noted only
2, one benefitting each team, so I don't know that that really had much
impact.
Speaking of refs, I'm glad they got the contracts ironed out and got the
*real* refs back. It was nice seeing Ed Hochuli. (I'm going to want to
do a search to find out if anyone is crazy enough to have a fan page for
him on the web.)
I'm glad that my team didn't end up being the last 0-win team of the
season.
