Yeah, I noticed that.

Oh.

Now why didn't it tell me that somewhere?

FWIW, Irfanview _is_ the one I'm trying to get them all assigned
to. Unfortunately, when I installed it, either I didn't do something right
or the computer decided to do something different, 'cuz it tries to open
.gif's with one program, .jpg's with another (Picture Perfect, in this
case), and so on.

Well, I'll be . . . using Shift+ Right Click (which is actually the button
to the left of the touchpad: "Left Click" is the button _below_ the
touchpad) then selecting "Open With", selecting "iview36" and then clicking
on "Always use this program to open this type of file" appears to have
worked! At least it changed all the .jpg's in one directory, which nothing
else did.

Thanks!

And thanks to all the others who replied.

Except Alberto. ;-P

Land that I love!
Stand beside her, and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam
God bless America!
My home, sweet home.
