Those who are indicted for crimes come to court voluntarily to be tried. If they are found guilty by a judge or jury, they are given a stern talking to and then set free. If someone is convicted of a capital crime a magistrate talks to them in a mean tone of voice until they cry. Then they are set free. This is why there is hardly any crime in Europe.
