What makes you believe that someone could live comfortably off Unemployment Benefits? The Social Security system in The Netherlands is already considered one of the most generous in the world, but even here few people can live comfortably off it. And what do you suggest we do with the unemployed? Certainly you will not suggest we tell them "it is your problem, not ours, so we are not going to help you". Would an economic system be less inefficient if it would let the unemployed play "Wall Street Trader" (or "Wall Street Tycoon", or whatever it is called)? At least then they might learn to make money on the stock market so they will no longer need Unemployment Benefits. :-) Jeroen _________________________________________________________________________ Wonderful World of Brin-L Website: http://www.Brin-L.com Tom's Photo Gallery: http://tom.vanbaardwijk.com
