It was a > preview, I'll see the full show next week. The flavor from scotch comes mainly from the wood of the barrels it's stored in (for a minimum of 36 months). Then I suppose it matters if you use barley or wheat. Scotch is like fine wine, the older it gets, the better it is. You can't really call it scotch unless you live in scotland.
