I wouldn't be so sure! :-) I know a lot of experts and specialists (perhaps I am one, too) and a lot of them are more than happy to talk about their interests, even if they have to explain some "basic" stuff. Explaining things to someone is one of the best ways to check your own understanding, and even learn something yourself sometimes.
