Well, that wasn't entirely my question. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts as to the rhyme and reason of why certain golems had certain standard traits, like pearly white for sex, green for grunt work, black for concentration, etc.

Just trying to stir a little discussion. I myself don't have any theories yet, but I figured someone else might have something to kick around about it.


 
I'm guessing that DB didn't worry a whole lot about the symbolism of color.  I think he may have been careful to make black good, but that's about it. I think more effort went into the plot and into the metaphysics.
