The incident you are referring to is when I got furious because John had the gross insensitivity to start an "Abortion" thread less than two weeks after Phaedra's birth (and exactly one week after I informed the list about it). Also, if that is what he was talking about, why would he say "contact a Brin-L member off-list" when he could have said "ask Sonja"? His phrasing suggests that I should contact a list member by off-list e-mail, and I have no reason to contact Sonja that way. So, I am still waiting for John to provide an answer. If he does not provide it, I will have to conclude that his statement lacks any factual basis. And if you are right and this is exactly what John is referring to, then I can only say that it extremely low to bail out of a discussion and in the parting message remind two listmembers of the single most traumatic event in their life. In that case, John has sunk even lower than he ever sank before, and there will be only one possible sanction for it: being banned from this list forever.
