So, the topic of abortion hurts you still?
And indeed, it ruins your day (and you imply that this something that I
should not do.)
Why is it that consideration should be taken for your sensitivity to
certain topics, but that you would deny that we should express the same
consideration for the sensitivity of Jews to certain topics?

Well if the experience is necessary to be qualified to determine an
appropriate amount of time, then you are the only person that I know who
has the necessary qualification. So, should I have e-mailed you about
when it was o.k. to start discussing abortion again? Then again, that
somehow seems self-defeating.
Of course, if you could only recognize that you birthed Phaedra, not
aborted her, maybe things would be much nicer for you. Given that you
held her in your arms, named her, buried her, and most importantly of all -
loved her, I think that it should be abundantly clear to anyone that you
consiered Phaedra to be a Child - not an indefinite protohuman.

I'm going to stand by my personal judgements of the evidence presented to
me. In fact, my some random twist of fate, I happened to come across an
ad today by the Anti-Defamation League that I had never seen before. The
ADL advertisement listed four points of Anti-Semitism that need to be
combatted in the world today. #3 of those points was "comparison of
Nazism & Hitler with Zionism and Israel." Granted, even your comparison
was not nearly as odious as the illustrative example they provided, but I
found it very enlightening that I am hardly the only one recognizes that
the root of such comparisons is Anti-Semitism. Thus, Jeroen, I stand by
my statements in the same context in which they were originally made - in
the sincere hope that the severity of the accusation may lead you to
reconsider the deeply buried bias you may find veyr uncomfortable to even
admit to, and eventually to root it out completely from your intellect.
