Abortion is the premature ending of a pregnancy through medical intervention -- which is exactly what happened. Maybe your definition differs slightly, but both the principle and the emotional and psychological effects remain the same. Who do you think you are, telling someone "what you experienced was not an abortion"? You think the trauma would be any less when you call the procedure by an other name? It hurt when it happened. It hurt when you brought the topic up less than two weeks later. It still hurts from time to time. It hurt again recently when Robert Seeberger told us a similar thing had happened to his brother and sister-in-law. And now it hurts again. Thanks for ruining my day again, John. Thanks a lot. :-( <Personal opinion about JDG censored to protect the sensitive-minded> >As such, when I mentioned the topic after I thought an appropriate amount >of time had passed, it was completely unconnected to any event in your >life. In fact, I didn't think Yup, that is exactly your problem: you did not think... Appropriate amount of time? Completely unconnected event? You obviously have never been involved in something like this (because nobody who has been would ever make such a statement), so you are completely unqualified to determine what is "an appropriate amount of time" or call it "completely unrelated". >that the topic would be a particular issue >for you or Sonja, as after all, you didn't have an abortion, you had a >birth - a birth of a beautiful baby daughter. I am stunned. How can someone be informed of a premature ending of a pregnancy and a week later start an "Abortion" thread, and then call it "completely unrelated" because it does not exactly match someone's definition of "abortion"? Only the truely insensitive would do something like that. > >No, I am not going to unilaterally decide to unsubscribe you; if you decide > >not to unsubscribe, however, removing you (either temporarily or > >permanently) might very well become a topic of discussion in the very near > >future. IOW, you are going to stand by your unwarranted accusations, your personal attacks and your flaming. That is all I needed to hear. What are you still doing here? Out. <Points finger in the general direction of the door> Jeroen _________________________________________________________________________ Wonderful World of Brin-L Website: http://www.Brin-L.com Tom's Photo Gallery: http://tom.vanbaardwijk.com
