In my experience, you install all that software on each computer you want to use to access the cable/DSL modem, and you configure each computer seperately. I think you can ignore any machines attached to the router that you don't actually intend to use online. > I think the cable or DSL providers frown upon home > networks, but that�s the least of my worries. You ask them for an additional net connection, they charge you for it, and they give you a new machine name that is allowed to log into their network.
