The Etiquette Guidelines say nothing about trolling. IMO, there is only one
thing in there that can be used in this case, and that is the statement "The
Listowners have the right to remove someone who does not wish to comport
themselves in a manner concordant with our civilisation".

Maybe we should amend the Etiquette Guidelines to include a statement about
trolling messages not being welcome.

No, but you can always start a discussion on-list about it. Once the list
has decided someone should be given a formal warning, the listowners can
issue such a warning.

That is my interpretation of the procedure, anyway. Julia and Eileen may see
it differently -- in which case I would like to hear what their
interpretation is. Ladies?
