Then I REALLY disagree. The problem is greedy execs lining their
pockets, not execs feeling beholden to the shareholders. Just the
opposite, in fact, the board of directors is usually other executives in
the old boy's network, so there is very little shareholder influence on
the execs at all. We need MORE accountability of the executives to the
shareholders, not less.
