Popular recent series made outside the USA:

Farscape (Australia IIRC)
Stargate SG-1 (Canada)
Andromeda (Also Canada)
EFC (Canada again) (recently concluded)
Xena Warrior Princes (New Zeland IIRC) (conluded a couple years ago)
Hercules (Also New Zeland IIRC) (conluded a couple years ago)
Junkyard Wars (though now produced in the USA, I believe it originated in
Great Britain under the name "Scrapheap Challenge" (can anyone confirm/deny
this? I would like to know) and has stayed fairly consistant with the
original spirit of the show)

Animated series: (not an exhaustive list)
Pokemon (Japan)
Zoids (Japan)
DragonBall Z (Japan)
Ranma 1/2 (wait for it... Japan)
etc.

These are the ones I can think of at the moment, but I am certain that there
are more.
