Minivans *are* better on those merits.
The Honda Odyssey, mentioned by Russell earlier, is one. (The Mazda MPV
he mentions has name familiarity to me, but I can't remember just what
it looks like. Mostly I tune out Mazda commercials because I find the
audio on them to be extremely annoying, leading me to avoid actually
picking up any useful information from them.)
