Once more, this is a BAD example. It is not because guns were banned, it wad the UTTERLY boneheaded way the UK government DID it. If someone facing me pulls out a knife, unless they're trained with it, it's more dangerous to them than to me. A gun is a different story - any idiot can be dangerous with a gun.
