In the first book, there is a lengthy passage about how TC shaves himself
with a straight-edge and hsi battle to do and not cut himself.  He could've
saved me hours of unenjoyable reading if he' just cut his throat right then
and there.

However, as "Ebert and Roeper" do, we all have our "guilty pleasures."  TC
must be one of yours.

I liked "Battlefield Earth . . . a lot.
