I haven't had a bad time with very much at all. I mean, if I can handle
a novel about two guys stumbling across a ring of illegal video
producers and distributors, who are making and selling pornographic
snuff films, and by the way, the boyfriend of one of them gets whacked
somewhat nastily, I figure I can handle an awful lot.
The few things that I can't handle when I'm pregnant include TV shows
about women with high-risk or problem pregnancies, newborn babies
needing tons of medical intervention, and movies, etc. where some
mother's child is killed (really shouldn't have seen "Pay It Forward"
when I was pregnant with Sammy -- that one shook me up badly). I was
doing OK with the books that included all sorts of things that can
happen with twin pregnancies this time around, though.

_Family: The Ties that Bind ... And Gag!_
I picked it up at a thrift store in Laurel, Maryland, when I was
visiting my sister at some point. (I also picked up some good clothing
cheap. Don't remember which trip, but I always manage to find 1 or 2
good things for a great price there. The store benefits the local VWF
(Veterans of Foreign Wars).)
One of these years, I'll go visit my sister on my own again. Of course,
by that time, she'll have moved. I figure there will be cool things to
see in Madison, Wisconsin, though.
