Agree. I couldn't even FINISH the first book!

I've had a bit of a masochistic relationship with
Edding's books. I never was a big fan of them, but I
kept buying them anyway. The books would be MUCH
better if Eddings could write decent dialouge. That's
where I was really turned off...

Also note he had several series: The Belgeriad, the
Mallorean, and the Elenium (and probably more since),
so he actually has a lot of books in print!

I think the last fantasy series (non-genre) that I
read that I really liked was the Death Gate Cycle by
Weis & Hickman. Great reading! 

I'm also a sucker for Kay too...
