Not if you *can* read other stuff. :) I somehow couldn't. I had nightmares if I read of murders, cried over any mention of infidelity [do you have any idea how many books get disqualified at once?], obsessed over the safety and the wellbeing of *all* characters [even the villains have mothers, right?]...heck, I cried over Archie comics! In short, I was a useless bundle of hormones and emotions. :) Romances were all I *could* read and even then I had to limit myself to funny historicals and bland silhouettes. It was embarrassing. *And* inconvenient as I couldn't finish even the first page of a romance after Khushi was born. So I borrowed 'The Islamic Bomb' from my great uncle - his house was closest to the hospital..... > currently in the middle of a Sector General book (_Code Blue - > Emergency_ which is in an omnibus book) and Erma Bombeck on the > nightstand, and read _The View from Saturday_ (which won the Newbery > award in 1997) cover to cover yesterday, and *that* was an interesting > little book... Which Erma Bombeck? :) Ritu GCU Currently reading _Revenge & Retribution:Understanding South Asian History_, _The Partition Omnibus_ and Peter O'Donnell's _The Night of Morningstar_. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
