Well, a few things did survive [and I am very glad Donaldson never
confirmed the destruction of Ranhyn] but the land was undoubtedly
bleaker. I still liked the second trilogy. :)

I haven't read anything else by her. I have two of her 'Cycle of Fire'
books but I refuse to read them until I find the first. :)

I enjoyed Riftwar -he created a lot of good characters in that series.
Serpentwar saga was less interesting.
