There are a few omnibus books out now: _Cordelia's Honor_, which
contains _Shards of Honor_ and _Barrayar_ (and that's what I gave my
sister, actually); _Young Miles_, which contains _The Warrior's
Apprentice_, "The Mountains of Mourning" (novella in _Borders of
Infinity_) and _The Vor Game_; _Miles, Mystery & Mayhem_ which contains
_Cetaganda_, _Ethan of Athos_ and "Labyrinth" (from _The Borders of
Infinity_); and _Miles Errant_, which contains "The Borders of Infinity"
(from _Borders of Infinity_), _Brothers in Arms_ and _Mirror Dance_. If
you get the omnibus books, it puts the novellas in the right places with
respect to the novels.
I think I may re-read _A Civil Campaign_ after I finish the James White
omnibus I'm currently reading (_General Practice_). We'll see.
