I defy you to find any statement from the Vatican, or quote "close to the
Vatican" singling out John Kerry. Likewise, the only statement cited by
the Vatican in your article debated to something issued to the
*universal*Church* in 190+ countries in 2003 (one of which was no doubt
having an election). So, perhaps by being selective in their timing,
you are referring to avoiding such statements in the United States'
election year?
Anyhow, I am not surprised that you still have not backed off describing
the Catholic Church as part of an "Axis."
